Mission

As a nonprofit sanctuary, we provide lifelong, humane care for displaced, rescued, and non releasable animals while promoting ethical wildlife stewardship through education, transparency, and community engagement.

Programs or services

Sanctuary Hill serves people from all walks of life across the country, but our growing focus is our small rural community. We aim to expand activities for local schools and create meaningful volunteer opportunities for churches and youth groups. Because our area is largely low‑income and has limited access to enrichment programs, we want to give young people more hands‑on educational experiences in animal care, conservation, and wildlife science.

We plan to:
• Offer volunteer and community service opportunities for local schools, churches, and youth groups
• Provide hands-on learning experiences and field trips for students
• Support students who need assistance with school projects related to animals, conservation, or environmental science
• Maintain safe, ethical, and enriching habitats for the animals in our care

Funding Needs

Funding needs

We are seeking a funding to:
• Purchase the property from the previous owner
• Update and improve animal enclosures, walkways, and guest areas to meet modern safety and welfare standards
This funding will allow us to stabilize the sanctuary, maintain USDA compliance, and continue serving the community through education, rescue, and outreach.
