ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE HALIWA-SAPONI INDIAN PEOPLE BY SECURING EDUCATIONAL, HEALTH, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, HOUSING, CULTURAL, AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO WORKS TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN AND FOSTER GOOD PUBLIC RELATIONS WITH LOCAL, STATE, FEDERAL AND OTHER TRIBAL GOVERNMENTS AND BUSINESS. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION WORKS TO PROMOTE GOODWILL, PEACE, AND HARMONY WITHIN THE TRIBAL COMMUNITY AND OTHER INDIAN TRIBES AND TO SERVE AS A FORUM THROUGH WHICH CONCERNS AND ISSUES OF THE HALIWA-SAPONI INDIAN PEOPLE MAY BE ADDRESSED. THE TRIBE ALSO OPERATES A CHARTER SCHOOL.
