The mission of the . is to commemorate the life of Kenny through educational scholarships, cancer awareness and community gathering, specifically through annual college scholarships to South Side High School senior students with business-oriented career focus. All in all, 12 high school seniors having been awarded scholarships and merit awards towards their college educations since Kenny passed in 2006.

The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, including for such purposes, (1) the making of distributions organizations located in New York State that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code; (2) providing monetary and technical assistance or arranging for the provision of, food, clothing or shelter needy residents of the State of New York; (3) awarding scholarships individuals for musical studies; (4) raising awareness with respect the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse; and (5) carrying on any other activities necessary , in connection with, or incidental the foregoing.

The is dedicated to promoting gender equality in STEM through managing campus chapters, publishing our volunteer-run blog, and holding events. In 2019, we held our largest-to-date symposium, where we raise $130,000 and gave away $25,000 in scholarships and travel grants. This year we moved our symposium back to Boston, hosting the symposium at the Harvard Medical School. Perricone MD gave the Born Seekers fellowship at this event. The fellowship recognized women in STEM with the potential to change the world with their research. Over 350 applications from all over the US were recieved. We have 25 active collegiate chapters, and we are working to activate chapters that previously had been active. In 2020 we plan to hire a part-time executive director to help with our fundraising efforts!

Our mission is to protect at-risk youth from the dangers of bullying, gangs, and gun violence. Because of their first-hand experiences in urban environments, members of WAG are able to provide real-world solutions to potentially toxic situations in a way inner-city students can relate to and understand. Each week members of our organization visit schools, churches, and community centers in low-income neighborhoods to conduct gun and gang violence prevention workshops. Our workshops teach students how to avoid potentially dangerous situations by learning critical thinking skills, conflict resolution strategies, and how to build and maintain positive self-esteem.
